-5 years from the Great East Japan Earthquake -

Tohoku University , the original historic mission to continue committed to reconstruction as a university in the center of the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake , established the " Tohoku University Disaster Recovery nascent research mechanism" immediately after the earthquake , Tohoku reconstruction and Japan Earthquake disaster eight leading key projects and reconstruction assistance project of more than 100 has been promoting the ( reconstruction action 100+ ) . Upon their fifth year from the Great East Japan Earthquake , as much as possible with the further development help towards the Tohoku reconstruction and leading Japanese　Earthquake disaster" , will present the efforts and the latest achievements of the past .
